The advancement of technology and social media has made it easier than ever for us to encounter new content, images and lifestyles. At the same time, they often present idealised versions of life, making everyday urban experience appear dull by comparison. The challenge is how to enjoy the convenience of the digital world while still maintaining a genuine connection to reality, and how to reawaken people’s curiosity about the world around them. Although many complex issues within urban life are difficult to solve, a shift in perspective can sometimes turn these problems into unique opportunities.

This social observation-based design project aims to rediscover and redefine our relationship with the city. By giving urban elements human-like qualities, the project invites audiences to observe the city from a more playful and engaging perspective, revealing its distinctive character and value. It encourages us to slow down, pay attention to the details of the city, and build a deeper connection with the city.
