The work focus the subtle relationship between individual existence and its surrounding environment, using “folds” to express existence within modernity, an intermediate state that no longer belongs to a stable former order, yet has not arrived at the new normal. Within this folded reality, everyday experience begins to differ. Familiar rhythms, the continuity of time, and the structures we once took for granted slowly come undone. We are pushed into a threshold state in which old identities and structures have loosened, while new stable forms have not yet taken shape. The work seeks to observe and reflect upon this condition of existence, and through poetic texts and typographic installations, translates this in-between state into perceptible visual and experience.
